Recorded in April 2009 at Earth Terminal Studios, Hampshire with Lewis Childs engineering, The God Album introduces Marcus on lead guitar and a more organic sound for the band. Helped along by the mostly analog recording process, The God Album is a stripped back affair and sends the listener into philisophical territory. The irony of the title is that the album is not about a singular diety at all; it is a considered critique of the most dangerous social force of our time: organised religion.
